Singer Choreography

Photograph of Cece Craner.

Cece Craner is the choreographer for the singer/dancers in this production. No stranger to the stage, Cece is a singer, dancer, and performer herself. Some of her fondest roles in theater include Anne Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank," Helen Keller in "The Miracle Worker," Queen Aggravain in "Once Upon a Mattress," Glinda the Good Witch in "The Wizard of Oz," and Lina Lamont in "Singin' in the Rain" to name a few. She has also directed numerous productions ranging from elementary plays and operas about the Bill of Rights and the Water Cycle to the community theatre productions of "Saturday's Warrior" and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

Cece began teaching dance lessons when she was twelve years old. Currently she has three college degrees, one of which includes a minor in dance education. She owns and operates her own dance studio while providing choreography for community theatre productions such as "State Fair," "The Ark," and "Brigadoon," as well as the opening numbers for pageants and scholarship competitions. Besides being known as "the dancer" in her theatre world and "the singer" in her dancer world, she also answers to "Ms. Craner" to her sixth grade students when teaching school, and "Mom" to her own two children. Cece is so excited to be a part of the Celebrate America Show family!
